A friend of mine and I were sitting on a park bench by the bay over in Magnolia… it was about 1am… she suddenly screams “WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!?!?” and launches to her feet grabbing my arm and pulling me up with her…….. I was like waht the hell and then suddenly I saw it too….. coming into the bay, NOT FLYING THROUGH SPACE OR THE UPPER ATMOSPHERE LIKE A METEOR OR SHOOTING STAR, but coming into the bay like a seaplane…… was this dark sphere with a perfect blue square of light around it, cocked at a 45, so essentially a diamond shape but perfectly square….. behind it was a trailing tail of blue light, very much like the light trails the bikes from Tron left behind them…… and NOTHING was wavering, flickering or “burning” …………..it was a solid dark sphere, diamond glow of light with hard edges and a beautiful tail fading at about a length of six times the width of the blue light….. it was RIGHT THERE, in the bay…… wasn’t making a SOUND. At 1am we could hear the ferries chugging out in the bay, but this thing was SILENT. We watched it coming down towards the glow of downtown Seattle at a steady 20ish degree angle and it was so smooth!!!!! We stood there watching it come from our right and silently sailing into the bay across to our left for a good 8-10secs… and I WAS BLOWN AWAY. I’ve seen the Aurora Borealis many times in Alaska. I’ve seen MANY meteor showers, especially the Perseids. I’ve seen spectacular exploding meteors burn across the sky….. this thing was a DARK SPHERE inside a BRIGHT BLUE WELL DEFINED DIAMOND LIGHT with a LONG TAIL THAT DIDN’T WAVE OR MOVE AT ALL INDEPENDENT FROM THE PHYSICAL SPHERE ITSELF. It was 100% an object, pretty large object, definitely the size of 2-3 seaplanes… and then suddenly BOOM!!!!!! Every bit of the blue light was INSTANTLY GONE, and for a split second we BOTH saw the Spherical Object which had definite but undefinable “features on it”, we saw it for a split second after the light went off and then it was just gone….. with a faint but audible BOOM!!!!!! …….like a sonic boom. She almost ripped my arm off and said the second thing she said during this experience “DID YOU HEAR THAT?!?!?!?!?!?” and it was just GONE. We didn’t see this Spherical Object shoot off in any particular direction, just gone. To this day I look to the skies hoping to see something ANYTHING again almost nightly. I don’t care if anyone believes me. I saw what WE saw and she remembers it like it happened an hour ago as well. I genuinely believe it was a craft of some kind….. alien or human or time traveller or whatever I cannot say, OF COURSE….. but it WAS there…. “coming into the bay” and it was like whoever or whatever was piloting it “forgot to turn off the lights” and for those few seconds WE SAW IT. I still imagine it as if whatever/whoever was piloting it was like “SHIT THE LIGHTS!!!!” and then switched them off and the BOOM!!!! was either it literally SHOOTING AWAY, or……… switching dimensions or going invisible or whatever, who fuckin knows, but WE SAW IT. I will never forget it. Again, believe me or not, I don’t care………………. it’s the only time I’ve seen something 100% unexplainable but absolutely WILD and PHYSICAL right there in the sky. It was an AMAZING experience and has humbled me to no end to this day. That’s the trick of all this. Either you’ve seen something or you haven’t, but if you have……….. you never forget it and you don’t care what people think when you talk about it. Amazing.
